Police have released photos of an armed suspect after a trio of early morning robberies in Welland.
Just before 2 a.m. on Thursday, June 6th a man and woman were approached by a male suspect in the Niagara and Church Street area and robbed.
Within a half hour of the initial robbery, a gas station on Niagara Street and Thorold Road and a convenience store on Thorold Road and Prince Charles Drive were also held up.
The alleged robber is described as a 5'6" white man with a medium build.
At the time he wore dark pants, a black and grey jacket, a black winter hat, and a black bandana.
Officials believe a handgun was used in all three robberies.
