Families in need in South Niagara will have something to put under the tree thanks to Port Care's 'Give A Gift Pop Up Shop.'
Next week, people can come into the 'shop' and look for gifts for kids free of charge.
Executive Director of Port Cares Christine Clark Lafleur describes how the whole thing plays out.
"We basically set up a huge store, it's a store in the sense that clients can come in and pick out gifts for their loved ones, for their children, for their parents. It's floor to ceiling thanks to the generosity of the community."
Volunteers are busy setting up the shop at 92 Charlotte Street in Port Care's Group Room and accepting registrations. Residents will need to provide proof of need before they select items.
