The Port Colborne Farmers Market will be closing up shop early this season.
Director of Community and Economic Development Ashley Grigg says the decision to close the Farmers Market on October 30th was made with health and safety top of mind.
To celebrate the final market day, city staff will be handing out a special treat to children dressed in Halloween costumes.
A limited number of free pumpkins will also be given to children to take home and decorate.
The final market day is October 30th from 6 a.m. - 1 p.m.
