A crowd of more than 200 jamming a public meeting to discuss the latest development proposal in Port Dalhousie.
Last night's meeting gave residents a chance to ask questions and air concerns about a condo tower development being proposed by Fortress Real Developments on the former site of the Port Place project.
The project includes a 14 storey building with 220 units.
Originally the plan for Port Place included a 17 storey building along with a theatre and hotel.
Despite the downsized plan, some residents are still concerned about traffic and the height of the tower.
The public meeting is the first step in the process that would require the city to change its offical plan and zoning bylaw.
