The union representing Canadian postal workers says despite rotating strikes, their demands have not been resolved so far.
In an update on the union's website, CUP W officials say they continue to fight for improved health and safety, better working conditions, more permanent work, and fair compensation.
The update goes on to say, "We must remain united and strong and continue putting pressure on Canada Post. Our health and safety is not negotiable. We must have improved working conditions so that Canada Post no longer has over 5 times the number of disabling injuries as the rest of the federal sector."
Today the strikes hit Arnprior-Renfrew and Ottawa in Ontario, Charlottetown and Summerside in PEI, and Joliette and St. Jérôme in Quebec.
