The operators of Niagara's most popular pumpkin farm warning prices will be going up.
The Howell family issuing a notice to families, admission prices will rise if the province goes ahead with plans to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour.
In a release, the family says wages are the biggest expense they have operating the farm, with 60 percent of their income going to pay staff.
They add a $15 dollar minimum wage will increase costs by 30 percent which they have no room to absorb.
As a result, they have no choice but to include the increase in their pricing.
But the Howell family adds to make sure the experience is worth the increase, they will be adding several new attractions throughout the farm next year.
