Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made another visit to the Vimy Ridge memorial one day before world marks 100 years since the end of the First World War.
Trudeau met with veterans and thanked them for their service, telling them " Canadians remember who you are, what you stand for and the history you defined.''
Some 65-thousand Canadian soldiers died during the First World War with about 10,500 of them dying at Vimy.
The P-M visited Vimy Ridge last year to mark the centenary of the battle.
Tomorrow, he and more than 60 other world leaders will gather in Paris to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.
