Protesters are planning once again to gather outside Skyway Animal Hospital.
Dr. Mahavir Rekhi, who owns the animal hospital, was the subject of controversy late last year after video surfaced of him punching and strangling his patients.
He was convicted of abusing animals in his care and had his licence suspended by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario.
That suspension was lifted in February.
The re-opening of his business was met with angry protesters.
Those protesters plan to return today, Saturday May 6th, from noon until 3:00.
The protest will include a drop box for donations of pet food and toys which will be donated to a local pet rescue.
