The Province is kicking in some cash, in the form of a loan, to the Niagara Parks Commission for a new tourist attraction.
Tourism Minister Lisa MacLeod announced $25-million dollars in funding to help redevelop the historic Canadian Niagara Power Generating Station.
She made the announcement while in Niagara Falls this morning to officially reopen tourism as Niagara enters phase two of the province's recovery plan.
Last fall, The NPC was caught off guard by public interest in the historic site after offering a free tour of the Niagara Power Generating Station.
The NPC ended up offering a second tour that filled up just as fast as the first.
MacLeod says the new attraction will reopen in 2021 for visitors.
