We have heard the advice from health officials about staying safe this Halloween, but the province has now posted downloadable posters for homeowners to put on their front doors.
One says "Welcome trick or treaters" and the other says "Sorry see you next year."
The provincial website also reminds residents to stay home if you are feeling ill, and don’t hand out treats if you are sick, even with mild symptoms, or self-isolating.
Officials also ask that you stay within your public health region while trick or treating.
This is aimed at people living in Toronto, Peel, Ottawa and York regions where trick or treating is a no go because of the high number of COVID-19 cases in those areas.
