As long lines continue to form outside COVID-19 testing centres, the province's Education Minister says he is considering shortening the checklist of symptoms that are keeping kids at home until they get a negative test.
Stephen Lecce says he is working with public health officials on the possible change.
Earlier this week, B.C.'s top doctor Bonnie Henry announced a new simplified checklist that removed sore throat, runny nose, headache, fatigue and body aches.
The revised B.C. checklist says kids should stay home if they have fever, chills, a cough or shortness of breath, loss of the sense of taste or smell, or diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.
