A film coming to the Toronto International Film Festival features Niagara Falls.
The film called 'Clifton Hill' is dubbed a psychological thriller, and follows the journey of a young woman returning to the city following the death of her mother.
In the flick, a woman played by Tuppence Middleton (known for her role in Sense8) becomes obsessed with a kidnapping she believes she witnessed during her childhood.
The thriller directed by Albert Shin also stars Hannah Gross from Mindhunter and David Cronenberg.
TIFF's website states, 'Shin looks behind an idyllic tourist town and finds a questionable community with a history as sordid as the characters who inhabit it.'
There will be two screenings of the film: the first on at the Ryerson Theatre on Thursday, September 5th at 9 p.m. and the second on Monday, September 9th at the Scotiabank Theatre at 10 p.m.
