A public meeting will be held this week to discuss the design of a new span to replace the old Mewburn Road Bridge.
The city of Niagara Falls, the town of Niagara on the Lake, along with the Niagara Region and CN Rail are finalizing the design alternatives for the new bridge.
The span was closed in April of 2009.
The public can weigh in on the plans this Thursday from 5-7 pm at the Firemen's Park Hall on Dorchester Road in the falls.
