You can have your say on governance at the Niagara Region tonight.
Dr. Andrew Sancton - a Western University political science professor - is developing recommendations to advise the Niagara Region on how to improve and enhance organizational and governance practices.
He's holding a public meeting tonight at Regional Headquarters at 6:30 p.m.
Earlier this year the Region approved an Independent External Governance Audit following a report done by Toronto lawyer Marvin Huberman, who investigated the hiring process surrounding CAO Carmen D'Angelo.
While Hubberman's report found nothing wrong with the hiring process, he did recommended the Region undertake a governance audit.
