St. Catharines City Council will debate a motion tonight calling for the province to order a forensic audit at the Niagara Penninsula Conservation Authority.
Councillor Bruce Williamson has a motion on the council agenda tonight asking the Ontario government to "immediately initiate an appropriately thorough investigation and forensic audit of the NPCA."
Williamson's motion says serious questions have been raised about the NPCA's financial and human resource management.
Two local residents have also created a facebook page organizing a public rally for outside city hall tonight in support of the motion.
The rally is set for 5:30pm.
