A special ceremony will be held this week to pay tribute to the life of 7-year-old Nathan Dumas.
The grade two student from St.Catharines was killed last March, his step-father has been convicted in the murder.
Niagara Regional Police is partnering with Victim Services Niagara to mark Victims and Survivors of Crime Week 2018 and honour the life of Nathan.
On Wednesday at 11am there will be a Proclamation Ceremony with NRPS Chief Bryan MacCulloch , followed by a BBQ lunch at Happy Rolph's Animal Farm in the City of St. Catharines.
Nathan's mother Whitney will also be speaking at the ceremony.
Members of the community are invited to attend.
