It was a difficult month for St. Catharines in September.
First a daylight shooting on September 6th rocked the Queenston Street community and left three young men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police continue to search for the gunman in the targeted shooting.
Just two and a half weeks later another shooting shocked area residents.
On Sunday September 23rd, a 24 year old man was shot in the area of St. Paul and Queen streets.
Police are still looking for four "persons of interest" in the case.
Newstalk 610 CKTB will be hosting the "Queenston Neighbourhood Broadcast" this Thursday from 4-7pm.
Host Larry Fedoruk will be talking to area residents, service agencies and business owners discussing recent challenges, and opportunities for the area.
CKTB's Assistant Program Director Tom McConnell says the broadcast will bring positive attention to an area that has had a lot of negative attention lately.
