A rainfall warning is in effect for the entire Niagara Region this morning.
Environment Canada says the rain will be heavy at times and warn the ground is already near saturation, has little ability to absorb further rainfall.
30-50 mm of rain is expected today through Saturday.
The rain will start this morning and taper off late Saturday.
Local flooding is anticipated and the weather office is warning people not to approach washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
