Over 50 rallies will be held today in what is being called one of the largest coordinated days of action for Ontario workers in the past decade.
The move will target the ridings of Conservative MPP's and other public buildings in a fight to save Bill 148.
Earlier this month, Premier Ford said he is considering a full repeal of the bill which not only included another minimum wage hike, it also increased vacation entitlements to three weeks after a worker has been with a company for five years, forced employers to pay workers for three hours if their shift was cancelled within 48 hours of its start and expanded personal emergency leave to 10 days per year, two of them paid.
Today's day of action, will see protestors gather in front of the MTO building on St. Paul Street in St. Catharines from noon to 2 pm.
