The family of Allana Haist is asking people to come down to the Welland courthouse Monday to show support for the 38-year-old mother and her daughter Layla Sabry.
An Amber Alert was issued for the girl last week after her mother failed to attend a custody hearing.
A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Haist Tuesday.
A facebook post by Haist's aunt says they're asking people to come to the courthouse in Welland at 2pm on Monday to show support.
Layla and her mother were last seen Thursday, Dec. 1st. in Welland at about 6 p.m.
A GoFundMe account has been set up for Haist and is named “Allana Haist custody fund.”
The crowdfunding page was created to assist with Haist’s legal fees to fight for custody of her daughter as of this morning more than 18-thousand has been raised.
