Former Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion will reportedly take part in a rally today to protest Don Cherry's firing.
According to Toronto Sun columnist Joe Warmington, the 98-year-old is expected to join protesters outside Sportnet's Mount Pleasant Road studios at 1 this afternoon.
MCCallion is among those coming to Cherry’s defence, saying he is a proud Canadian, but could have used better words to express what he saw was a lack of support for military veterans.
