There's a new 'independent' MPP at the Legislature.
Randy Hillier is the latest politician at Queen's Park to join the ranks of the un-affiliated.
He's been tossed out of the Ontario PC caucus.
It goes back to a controversy that started swirling last month:
Some parents of kids with autism accused him of saying 'yadda, yadda, yadda' during a Question Period debate over funding.
Hillier has argued he found himself on the outside looking in because he does not see eye-to-eye with the Premier Ford's top advisors.
A letter written by the Tory caucus chair Daryl Kramp says Hillier has been permanently expelled following a review of his behaviour before and after his suspension last month.
In the letter, Kramp says Ford was disappointed that Hillier ``continued to escalate the situation in public'' and appeared unwilling to be a team player.
Hillier is the MPP for Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston.
