Swedish authorities have dropped a rape investigation of Julian Assange, but British police say the WikiLeaks founder still faces arrest if he leaves Ecuador's London embassy.
The Metropolitan Police force says there's still an arrest warrant for Assange after he jumped bail in 2012.
But it says he's now wanted for a ``much less serious'' offence than the original sex crimes allegations.
Assange has been hiding out in the Ecuadorian embassy, fearing that if extradited to Sweden he'll eventually be sent to the U-S.
The Swedish Prosecution Authority says the rape investigation could be reopened if Assange returns to Sweden before the statute of limitations ends in 2020.
