The President of the Toronto Raptors could be facing a battery charge after a courtside run-in with an Alameda County Sheriff's deputy after the team's historic N-B-A Championship win.
Alameda spokesman, Sergeant Ray Kelly, claims Masai Ujiri assaulted a police officer who was checking for credentials at Oracle Arena.
The former N-B-A executive of the year is alleged to have shoved the officer in an effort to get on the court.
Several bystanders intervened and Ujiri got onto the court without displaying his.
However, a Warriors fan says he was standing next to the deputy when the encounter occurred and did not see Ujiri strike him in the face.
