Canadian fans of the energy drink Red Bull could get a few extra bucks in their pocket as the company settles a class-action lawsuit.
Under the terms of the settlement, Canadians who drank or bought Red Bull between January of 2007 and July 23rd of this year could get $10 in compensation.
This comes after allegations Red Bull violated Quebec's Consumer Protection Act by failing to inform customers about 'inherent dangers concerning the ingestion of its caffeinated energy drinks' and claiming that the drink 'improved alertness or increased concentration.'
Anyone who wants their piece of the settlement has until October 14th to submit a claim.
