A joint bid is what could help Niagara land Amazon's newest headquarters.
The online retail giant is looking for a North American city to host their second H-Q, an opportunity that would attract 50 thousand jobs to the selected city.
Niagara Regional Chair Alan Caslin says he's reached out to his counterparts in Niagara Falls, New York and Hamilton and come up with an idea for a co-operative bid.
Caslin says both Mayors realize they don't meet the criteria Amazon wants alone and believe together they can win the bid.
Amazon is looking for a city in a prime location, close to an international airport, that has the ability to house an 8 million square foot development.
