The City of Niagara Falls is getting help from Niagara Regional Council to fight changes from the provincial government and OLG’s Modernization Lottery and Gaming Initiative.
Councillors worry proposed limitations on marketing beyond Hamilton could impact jobs in the region.
Regional Chair Alan Caslin brought forth a motion to split legal costs with the city up to $150,000 - an idea supported by almost all councillors except for St. Catharines Councillor Brian Heit.
