It looks like a regional councillor will be continuing a legal fight against the Niagara Region.
The Standard reporting that Councillor Andy Petrowski plans to appeal a recent court ruling in his attempt to block the public release of two integrity commissioner reports that found him in violation of the Region's code of conduct
In an email forwarded to the paper the councillor states he is also appealing the judge's decision to award the Niagara Region $5,500 in legal costs.
The email was sent on Sunday morning and Petrowski writes, 'the decision is being appealed and the filing will occur next week.'
Last week Petrowski also announced he does not plan to run for re-election.
