It has been 10 years since Ontario was rocked by the abduction and murder of a little girl from Woodstock.
Tori Stafford was just 8 years old when, on April 8th 2009, she went missing while walking home from school.
Her body was later found in a farmers' field in Mount Forest, showing that she had been sexually assaulted before her death.
A number of victims of violent crime rallied in Ottawa today, marking the 10th anniversary of Stafford's disappearance and calling for changes to Canada's justice and corrections systems
Stafford's killers, Michael Rafferty and Terri-Lynne McClintic, made headlines last year when Rafferty was transferred to a medium-security prison and McClintic was moved to a healing lodge in Saskatchewan.
McClintic was later sent back to a maximum-security prison while Rafferty is still serving his sentence in medium security.
Stafford's father Rodney is calling for both his daughter's killers to serve their sentence in a maximum security prison.
