St. Catharines is inviting the community to City Hall and the Cenotaph in Memorial Park for Remembrance Day ceremonies
At 10:15 a.m, veterans will lay wreaths at the Honour Rolls and Watson Memorial and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 24 Cenotaph, followed by the Last Post.
Veterans and Legion members will then march through downtown streets to the Cenotaph at Memorial Park for the service.
The procession will leave City Hall and go west on Church Street, and continue south on Ontario Street and west on St. Paul Street West to the Cenotaph.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised that there will be a rolling road closure while the procession moves from City Hall to the Cenotaph at Memorial park.
The service at the Cenotaph at Memorial Park ceremony begins at 11 a.m.
Residents are advised to arrive early.
Free parking is available at the Ontario Street Parking Garage, the Carlisle Street/Garden Park Parking Garage and other City metered lots and onstreet parking spots.
