It's going to take a lot more money to fix one of Niagara's worst roads.
A report going to city council Tuesday recommends another $400,000 to rehab Dorchester Road between McLeod Road and Lundy's Lane.
Late last year, council approved a capital budget that included $1.2 million for road resurfacing and rehabilitation in 2018 — $500,000 of that was allocated for Dorchester Road.
A staff report says another $400,000 is needed to address resident complaints, driveability and drainage concerns.
It recommends the money come from the city's federal gas tax program
