The Seneca County Sherrif's Office has issued a no unnecessary travel alert after heavy rains caused flash flooding, inundating roads and damaging home in the Finger Lakes region.
Up to 5 inches of rain has fallen, prompting an emergency alert advising residents to seek higher ground.
Emergency crews are on the scene working to evacuate residents.
