If you live in Niagara Falls you'll want to avoid the Kalar Road tracks near Beaverdams this morning.
As of 7 a.m. the tracks are closed between Beaverdams and Racey Avenue and they'll stay what way until Sunday at 5 p.m.
The road closure is necessary for the rehabilitation of the railway crossing by Canadian National Railway and will include excavation of the track.
No through traffic will be permitted during the closure.
Detours will be posted.
Also keep in mind the tracks on Thorold Stone Road between Stanley Avenue and Drummond/Portage Road will close at 7:00 a.m. on Monday December 3rd, and stay that way until Wednesday December 5th at 5:00 p.m. for similar repairs.
