It looks like Brampton has landed a partnership with Ryerson University.
The Toronto Star reporting Brampton council has committed $50 million over 10 years towards a post secondary facility led by Toronto's Ryerson University.
City Council agreeing unanimously to invest $100 million towards a joint use centre for education, innovation and collaboration in downtown Brampton.
The City of Niagara Falls had been pursuing an opportunity with Ryerson but an initial FedDev application that was submitted was turned down.
Mayor Jim Diodati has previously said the city was still exploring options with Ryerson.
Pursuing a post-secondary presence in downtown Niagara Falls has been a priority for Diodati since he was elected mayor in 2010.
