The Buffalo Sabres have fired general manager Tim Murray and head coach Dan Bylsma.
The club made the announcement via Twitter this morning following a disappointing season.
Buffalo missed the playoffs for a sixth straight year.
The Sabres ended up last in the Atlantic Division and 15th in the Eastern Conference with two fewer wins and three fewer points than last year.
The season began with an array of injuries and ended with the team unravelling by going 7-14-2 in its final 23 games.
Owner Terry Pegula says the decision was made after ``reviewing the past season and looking at the future of our organization.''
