A group calling itself "Good Jobs Niagara" is organizing a Save The Casino Jobs town hall next week.
The town hall is set for May 17th starting at 7 pm at the Gale Centre in Niagara Falls.
Mayor Jim Diodati making the announcement last night at city council.
He says Niagara Regional Chair Alan Caslin and Niagara Falls MPP Wayne Gates will both be in attendance.
The town hall will focus on the province's decision to find a new operator for the city's two casinos, which local officials fear will put up to
1,400 jobs in jeopardy.
