The Scotiabank Convention Centre is packed full of students today celebrating School-A-Palooza.
The event is running from 2 to 6 pm and students bought tickets in advance.
School-A-Palooza has become an end of the year tradition for many Niagara Falls high school students with all five local high schools participating.
Officials say this year’s event has been reinvented to provide a safer environment and has moved to a new date and location.
Last year the event coincided with Springlicious on Queen Street, and caused the early shut down of the street festival due to altercations between teens.
Springlicious will be held June 1st-3rd.
The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Committee and City Staff say they have worked hard to ensure that the spirit and students’ enthusiasm at the heart of the event remains the same.
