A school bus driver is facing charges after a crash in Welland.
The collision happened at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday morning at the intersection of Canal Bank Street and Ontario Road.
Police say the 47 year old driver of a pickup truck was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers say there were reports that a school bus was involved and fled the scene.
A short time later a call came in that a school bus was driving on three wheels on Prince Charles Drive.
Police found the bus and charged the 77 year old from Fort Erie with careless driving and failing to remain at the scene of a crash.
The four children still on the bus did not suffer any significant injuries.
