The nationwide manhunt for two murder suspects has shifted to the community of York Landing in northern Manitoba.
The RCMP were tipped off to the potential presence of the pair after members of an Indigenous-led neighbourhood watch group, the Bear Clan Patrol, spotted two suspicious men.
Officials say 'all efforts' are being made to apprehend two people matching the description of the suspects, and residents in the area are being told to stay inside and make sure all doors and windows are locked.
Despite earlier reports on social media, no one has been arrested at this time and police remind residents not to post pictures of officers via social media as it could give away their locations.
18 year old Bryer Schmegelsky and 19 year old Kam McLeod are accused of three roadside murders in BC.
Up until now, police have been focusing the search around the community of Gillam, about 90 km away from York Landing.
