A second investigation is being conducted by a provincial ombudsman into long-term care in the province during the pandemic.
The patient ombudsman's office says it's launching its investigation after receiving 150 complaints from residents, family members and whistleblowers since March.
Its investigation will be specific to the experiences of residents and caregivers at long-term care homes with COVID-19 outbreaks.
