St. Catharines residents can once again weigh in on the city's double direct proposal next week.
City council last night setting the meeting for Monday from 5 to 6:30 at city hall.
Council, which met in special session last night, voted 6-5 to hold another public meeting on its proposed dual duty representation plan.
The move would see six councillors serve on both the region and municipal council.
Councillor Mark Elliot not happy with the move asking what is the point of a meeting when council has already voted in favour of the double direct model?
The second public meeting comes after local resident George Darte complained to regional council that the previous October 20th meeting on the plan was not an official meeting.
The region which also has to approve the move, delayed its vote on the proposal until a second hearing was held.
