Some Canadian police departments are increasing officer visibility around Jewish facilities.
Police in the national capital region say there's no increased threat, but they're monitoring Jewish community centres and synagogues as a precaution.
They're also increasing officer presence to help ease concern within the community in response to the Pittsburgh shooting.
Toronto police say they've made ``adjustments'' to local security, with Chief Mark Saunders tweeting the force -- quote -- ``stands with our Jewish community condemning the senseless violence against those in Pittsburgh.''
Police in York Region also say they're now monitoring Jewish community centres and synagogues as a precaution.
