A Toronto-area man says he'll fight for the jackpot he is being denied because he signed a document voluntarily excluding himself from casinos.
82 year old John Marando won $10,000 in the slot machines at the Mohawk racetrack casino near Milton earlier this year.
But the Milton man says he was told he won't get the money because of the agreement he signed 17 years ago in Niagara Falls, which he says he doesn't even remember.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation prohibits prize payouts to gamblers who've signed a self-exclusion agreement but Marando says he was paid $400 he'd won earlier that day.
