It didn't take long for the first ever,online provincial testing assessment to hit a snag.
Grade10 students across Niagara and the province are taking part in the pilot project, taking the literacy test online.
The Education Quality and Accountability Office tweeting out this morning, "We are experiencing a minor technical issue with the Online #OSSLT network, which is causing system lag. Please have your students remain in the assessment rooms and pause the Student Testing Kiosk. More instructions will follow."
Up to 190 thousand students are taking the Ontario secondary school literacy test online today.
It's a voluntary test and the agency says it will serve as a trial to see if they, as well as schools, can handle online assessments.
