Police are investigating a series of violent assaults in the tourist area Niagara Falls.
The first happened at 9:35 p.m. last night on Portage Rd. and Fallsview Blvd.
Police say a couple was approached by a group of males when one attempted to rob the male victim and assaulted him with a weapon.
Five minutes later, a couple standing on a hotel terrace on Fallsview Blvd, was also approached by the same group of suspects who violently assaulted the male victim in an unprovoked attack.
And around 9:45, a lone male standing at Dixon St. and Fallsview was assaulted with a weapon.
All three victims suffered non-life threatening injuries and were taken to hospital.
The supsects are between 18 and 25 and were wearing hoodies and baggy pants.
There was another attack around 2:30 this morning. A man walking on Stanley Ave was assaulted with a weapon and robbed.
The suspect is in his early 20's with a medium build.
