Environment Canada's Peter Kimbell tells CKTB clouds, showers and possible severe thunderstorms will be moving into the Niagara this afternoon.
He thinks the storm will hit Niagara at around 5 o'clock today.
He says a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect for Niagara and the surrounding area.
He says thunderstorms with gusty winds of 80-90 kilometres are possible during the storm.
Temperatures will drop following the stormy weather, with an approaching cold front.
