Patrons of the Shaw Festival can expect a little Shakespeare thrown into the mix next season.
Shaw has unveiled its 2018 lineup which includes Shakespeare's Henry V.
In a release, organizors says Shaw was obsessed with Shakespeare and this is Shakespeare as Shaw might have written it, set in the trenches of France in 1918.
This version of Henry V is part of the Festival’s programming honouring the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI.
Also on tap next season, C.S Lewis' The Magician's Nephew, Grand Hotel, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hounds of Baskerville and Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.
For Bernard Shaw fans there is, Of Marriage and Men: A Comedy Double-Bill and O’Flaherty V.C
