Hamilton police are investigating a shooting incident at a home associated with the Musitano crime family.
Officers were called to a home on St. Clair Boulevard this morning around 2:30 after multiple shots were heard on the quiet street.
Spent bullet casings were found on the roadway and there was some damage to the house.
No one was injured.
Detectives believe the shooting may lead to information or evidence that can be used in the ongoing investigation into the murder of Angelo Musitano.
Musitano was gunned down outside his home in Waterdown in early May.
Angelo and his brother Pat, both served 10 years behind bars for the 1997 murder of Niagara Falls mobster Carmen Barillaro.
