One community that doesn't have to worry about a postal strike impacting the municipal election is Grimsby.
The West Niagara town offers online, phone and in-person voting.
Starting on October 10th at 10am until October 22nd at 8pm Grimsby residents can go online or call in their vote.
Residents have received a code in the mail to cast their ballot.
The town will offer one poll location at town hall on election day from 10a-8p.
Grimsby offered online voting last municipal election and saw their voter turnout increase to 43 percent, compared to 37 percent in 2010.
Two candidates are running for Mayor of Grimsby this time around, including Steve Berry and Jeff Jordan.
Mayor Bob Bentley has decided not to run again.
Lincoln is also debuting electronic voting this year.
Of the over 400 municipalities across Ontario, 194 are offering online voting.
