The Special Investigations Unit is terminating an investigation into an incident in Niagara Falls.

The Special Investigations Unit is dropping an investigation into an incident in Niagara Falls.

Officials say on October 13th, Niagara Regional Police were talking to a 39 year old man in the Drummond Road and Lundy's Lane area when the man punched a civilian and banged on the hood of a police vehicle.

He was arrested following an interaction with police and taken to hospital for treatment where doctors determined he did not suffer a serious injury.

The investigation has been terminated.
